Kenya Home Internet Comparison, Faiba vs Zuku vs Safaricom Home Fibre

Konakos

If you’re located within Nairobi or Mombasa, you might consider having internet in your house. We all like the juicy adverts from Faiba but they’re very expensive, well, if you’re not balling. However, the likes of ZUKU and Safaricom have made some of the best improvements towards change.

At the lower end of Safaricom, you find reasonable prices. If you’re the only person who will be using the internet within your house, you’ll be fine with 5 or 10 Mbps. These speeds are perfect and you can comfortably stream 1080p content off of YouTube.

On the other hand, there’s ZUKU. Reasonable prices for everyone. At the lower end, you get average internet performance. With 10Mbps, you can also stream 1080p peacefully. When you get better speeds, you only get good download speeds. ZUKU do not offer very good upload speeds

So what’s the better option?

At the lower end, go for Safaricom all day. There are better download and upload speeds.

For the higher end, you get value for your money with ZUKU. For example, Safaricom expects you to pay $100 for 40 Mbps while the same amount would suffice for 100 Mbps from ZUKU.
