Presenting MiUI9 Pro custom Rom for the Infinix X601 normal variant (16+2). This Rom was made available for the Pro variant in the link below
STABLE MIUI9 PRO V9.2.1.0 FOR INFINIX NOTE 3 PRO - X601 [MT6753]
I have now made some changes on the Pro variant Rom to have it working stably on the 16+2 X601. Let me know in the comment section of any issues not mentioned here.
The Rom gives you a beautiful UI which makes you have an experience almost to that of an iPhone. MiUIPro comes with extra features as compared to the normal MiUI firmware. It incorporates tweaks and extra goodies as you will find out when you explore the Rom.

How To Install
NB: You must be on marshmallow base or any Rom based on 3.18.19+ kernel
1. Download Rom from the link provided above and copy to your sdcard
2. Boot into recovery e.g. TWRP, Philz, CTR etc
3. Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache and system
4. Install Rom
5. Reboot
> First boot may take some time so be patient if you notice it has taken long
